I would like to be the first to welcome you to the HNU Parent and Family blog: The HNU Hawk Cast. When more than one hawk fly together, much like a flock of birds, herd of cattle, or a pod of dolphins, they are called a "cast." That being said, I thought it would be an appropriate title to this new, online space!
This space can be used for many different purposes: to get to know one another, to ask parent-to-parent questions, to learn more about what is happening on campus, and more!
In addition to stories and updates you will see here in the middle of the page, you will also be able to view the blog's archives and other information on the right of the page. You have the ability to comment on blog posts and create some of your own, if you would like. To make reading and posting to this blog even easier, you can subscribe to the blog at the bottom of the page! Simply click on the "Subscribe" link, enter any information, and you will be notified every time there is a new addition to The Hawk Cast.
HNU also has a number of Facebook fan pages. If you are a member of the social networking site, simply search "Holy Names University" in the search bar and choose to become a fan of any or all HNU pages! There is Student Life, Campus Ministry, New Student Hangout (the Office of Admissions' page), Counseling and Psychological Services, Alumni and probably more!
